Procession is a mesmerizing synth-pop band hailing from the Central Coast of NSW. Formed during the Covid pandemic, the band has become a beacon of sonic exploration, weaving together elements of synth-driven, upbeat dance tracks with heartfelt, albeit bleak lyricism and themes. With their captivating soundscapes and introspective lyrics, Procession has crafted a unique sonic tapestry that resonates with audiences far and wide.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, Procession has honed their distinct sound. The band pays homage to the dark and brooding sensibilities of Joy Division and the upbeat tones of New Order, while also channelling the melancholic allure of Nick Cave and the darker, synth-pop vibes of Cold Cave.

Signed to Team Glasses Records in Brisbane, Procession has found a home that understands and nurtures their artistic vision. Procession has recently released their latest single “Pressure”, following up on the 2022 release of their debut self-titled EP.
