SUBCULTURE? is the artist independent creative agency to look out for in 2023. In an ever-evolving music landscape, the team at Subculture? are determined to create an epicentre of creativity for emerging artists in Australia. Their mission is to cultivate an agency where the uniqueness of their artist's niche's are brought to the forefront.
Launching in January, 2023, the agency offers affordable services to emerging artists and their management teams. Spanning publicity, social media management, design, public relations, creative direction and bespoke packages. Equipping emerging and developing artists with the creative and professional tools and experience to find their place in the industry's vast web
The minds behind the agency is Ashley Cooper (Creative Director), a multi-discplinary creative working primarily in marketing, design and consultancy for the brand. Cooper brings a wealth of experience and is devoted to bring Subculture? to life.

Alongside Cooper, is Jonny Blackwell (Managing Director). Blackwell owns and operates Gum Records and Holy Moly Artists. He's managed a catalogue of artists over the years like 1300, Somber Hills, Raj Mahal and White Blanks, including his own bands Hotel Books (In Vogue) and Creations (Mediaskare/Century Media Records). Currently, he manages KILTER, Lawson Hull and Big Skeez, whilst developing artists.

This exhilarating project is independently owned and funded by Blackwell. The team provide an environment where artists perfect and sculpt their art, their subcultures, their ideas. Whilst SUBCULTURE? work behind the scenes to give their artists credibility, longevity and market share.
