This seven-song series transports fans to a world of imagination and mystique, where each track unravels its unique story and takes place within the intricately crafted universe of Arkyrin.

"Chronicles” is a sonic adventure like no other, masterfully blending Erys's real-life experiences with the fantastical world of Arkyrin. The first installment, "Proxima Blue," seamlessly blends the boundaries between reality and fiction, delving into Erys' personal life while introducing audiences to the wonders of Arkyrin. The mesmerizing cover art features "Ark-Made Jewels' worn by Erys, providing a tantalizing glimpse into the captivating journey of self-discovery.

The second chapter, "Blueprint Bones," unfolds the story of life after death within Arkyrin's mysterious laboratory, awash in ethereal shades of light blue and white. Erys adorns a hand-painted top adorned with the runic inscription "Blueprint Bones," mirroring the themes explored in the song.

"Tomes" adds an intriguing twist to the project, as Erys's Arkyrin alter ego takes center stage during spoken sections and a rapid-fire rap-style performance. The track is set amidst dark, misty mountains, torch-lit passageways, and ancient tomes, immersing listeners in an otherworldly experience.

"Spirit Gate" serves as the project's interlude, narrating the tale of two lovers who find solace in each other's past struggles and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing.

"Esoin" delves into Erys's real-life struggles, offering an unfiltered view of his experiences in his home city as an artist. The track expresses the longing for escape, the pursuit of what is deserved, and the quest for freedom, resonating deeply with listeners.

The project culminates in the vampire-themed tracks "Blood Moon" and "Blood Moon – Eclipse (remix)," drawing inspiration from iconic sources such as Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, the Berlin club Berghain, Blade, and Hellsing. These explosive and dark tracks provide a seductive and blood-soaked finale to the captivating "Chronicles."

Erys, who defies convention with his imaginative and diverse discography, brings to life a unique world through his music and artistic expression. He invites audiences to escape and connect through his creations, transcending the boundaries of traditional music.

In Erys's words, "This project is my favorite that I have ever done. I'm incredibly proud of the thought and artistry that went into making it. It's so colorful, unique, and captivating."

The album cover, a true masterpiece, features Erys wearing custom jewelry by Berlin jeweler 'asteriskonline' on Instagram. The runes on the cover, designed by Erys himself, belong to his fourth rune alphabet and hold a secret meaning, adding another layer of intrigue to "Chronicles." Erys's creative journey doesn't end here. He recently released "The Arks," a project that fans can explore and anticipate the music video for the song "Son Of The Arks."

We caught up with Erys for a quick chat!

What inspired you to start making music?

Music has been a part of my life since I was young. It started with singing and poetry and evolved into writing songs of my own as I got older. There was never an inspiration to make music, I was born to do it. I started the ‘Erys Project’ at age 17 in 2019 and haven’t looked back since. I keep evolving and exploring myself and music as I continue my career, it never gets old.

What does your songwriting process look like?

It’s pretty sporadic, I can write in various different ways. I can help construct a beat with a producer with nothing in mind then write on it, come up with a hook and write around it before taking it to the studio, write on a beat sent to me, write on piano or guitar etc. I just go off how I’m feeling.

If I were to listen to your music for the first time, who would I say you sound similar to?

I’ve gotten a few comparisons like Eartheater, Grimes, Chase Atlantic, Florence + The Machine and more.

Describe your music in three words.

Outer world experience.

Do you have any overarching themes across your music?

Definitely fantasy. My whole discography is in essence a score to the world I’ve created called Arkyrin, which is quite expansive mind you. From a demon kingdom to cyber cities, to a spirit world, expansive wastelands with strange creatures and heavenly portals, icy kingdoms filled with dragons, dungeons, warlocks, and blood witches. It’s all over the place but that’s what makes it so great. I have enough material in my head to last several lifetimes.

Do you have any particular aesthetics that represent the project Erys?

Again, fantasy. If I were to get specific, I’d say cyber centred aesthetics as well as high/dark fantasy. I love weird sigils and strange ambience, but I also love heavy guitar riffs and trap elements.

If your music was a colour, what would it be and why?

My four favourite colours are black, red, blue, and white. Green is the fifth, so I’d say my music is all these colours respectively. The main colour of my music is likely blue though. I have synaesthesia, which makes the whole experience of being an artist even more immersive. Every song is different, with varying textures, smells, colours, and entire scenes laid out since they are stories after all. I only have a few ‘other’ coloured songs like Cloud 9, which is pink and purple. To list off a few, Sector 9 is green and red, Do What I Say is red, Son Of The Arks and Ritual Destruction are black and white, and Blueprint Bones is blue (no way).

What are some goals you have set for the coming year?

I have a music video and more music coming out soon, but when do I not have more music coming out. My actual goal in my career is to move to Melbourne so I can actually have a shot at life instead of rotting away in Brisbane. I want to perform more, make, and distribute merch, meet new people and in essence really kick off my work, it deserves to be experienced.
